#HASHTAG DECLIC
NEW creation BY Riyad Fghani
“With #Hashtag Declic, Venice became the stage for a new dialogue between body and technology, between movement and image. An invitation to ‘click’ on reality, to rediscover – through dance – the wonder of being human.” – Notizie Teatrali (oct. 25)
#Hashtag Declic explores the disturbing beauty of a world where our bodies bend over screens, absorbed by the incessant flow of social media, this modern-day prosthesis that has become inseparable from us.
Riyad Fghani deploys a choreography of the “digital body,” this contemporary body reshaped by automatic gestures, frozen postures, and rhythms dictated by our devices. Through a physical and precise hip-hop dance, the performers explore technologies’ invisible but profound impact on our movements, our relationships, and our presences.
At double speed and double flow, #Hashtag Declic questions our illusory connections, and our thirst for real contact. The show’s visual universe, both subtle and vibrant, plunges us into an augmented reality that is disconcertingly familiar.
A sensitive journey at the crossroads of the real and the virtual, carried by the virtuoso energy of the Pockemon Crew, where dance becomes a language for questioning these digital silences and perhaps rediscovering a part of our humanity.
