With 25 years of passion and creativity, from the streets to the stage, the Pockemon Crew retraces the vibrant history of hip-hop through a captivating show. Since its emergence on the streets of New York in the 1970s, this cultural and artistic movement has left its mark and transcended generations.
De la Rue aux Jeux celebrates this unique epic, where styles intersect, dances evolve, and fundamental values—respect, perseverance, pushing oneself beyond one’s limits, and open-mindedness—emerge as a universal message.
Based on the incredible journey of the Pockemon Crew—the world’s most successful breakdance company—Riyad Fghani traces the path of an entire discipline, forged in and by the streets. The company has always sought to combine creativity and competition, even though it has long been forced to choose between the two in order to gain recognition. It has naturally broken free from these codes by
sharing a unique style for over 25 years, based on great technical skill and driven by the strength and values of battles.
The show is the result of the fusion between the company’s own history and the broader history of breakdancing, which has made its way into the most prestigious theaters and the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
